Note the extreme hydrocephalus apparent in the olfactory ventricles (OV) and the lateral ventricles (LV) of the transgenic compared with the wild-type mouse. In the more posterior sections, note the similar appearance of the aqueduct of Sylvius (aq) and the fourth ventricle (fv) in the wild-type and transgenic mice.
