Fig. S1. Western
blot analysis of Fgfr2 in CHO-K1 cells. To test the specificity of anti-FGFR2
antibody, CHO-K1 cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1 with or without a
full-length cDNA of Fgfr2 inserted under the control of the CMV
promoter. Cell lysates were separated in SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with
anti-FGFR2 (upper panel) and anti-b
tubulin (Developmental Studies hybridoma bank, clone E7; bottom panel). The
FGFR2-specific band is indicated by an arrow. This was the only band on the
western blot. Lane 1, protein standards; lane2, no DNA transfection control;
lane 3, vector alone; lane 4, vector + Fgfr2 cDNA.
