  Fig. S1. (A) Alignment of Xenopus and zebrafish (BC096775) Ppa demonstrates a 95% identity between the two proteins. (B) Embryos were injected in one of two cells at the two-cell stage with mRNA encoding FoxD3 and the lineage tracer, nβgal (red, injected side to the left). In situ hybridization of embryos at stage 15 demonstrates that Ppa expression is downregulated by overexpression of FoxD3. (C) The ability of Ppa to interact with Skp1 was assayed using co-IP experiments. Ppa binds Skp1, but this interaction is dependent on the presence of the Fbox of Ppa.
