(B) In animal explants, Sox8GR, Sox9GR and Sox10GR strongly induce Sox10 expression after 4 hours of dexamethasone treatment (+Dex). The induction of Sox10 by Sox8GR, Sox9GR or Sox10GR occurs independently of protein synthesis (+CHX), indicating that not only can Sox10 regulate its own expression but that Sox8 and Sox9 can directly activate Sox10.
