About the Cover
Cover: This month's cover image won a recent image competition sponsored by Development at the British Society for Developmental Biology meeting in March this year. It is a cross-section of a Six1+/nlacZ mouse embryo at 10.5 dpc, showing the Six1 gene expression pattern (X-gal staining) in the dorsal root ganglia, the somites and the migrating myoblasts invading the forelimb buds.
