Cover: Dorsal view of an adult Oncopeltus fasciatus (the large milkweed bug) drawn by C. N. Talley. This hemi-metabolous hemipteran insect has been shown to be susceptible to RNAi knockdown of gene function by injection of dsRNA into either cleavage-stage embryos or the haemolymph of adult females, making it an excellent subject for developmental genetic investigations.
